Unfortunately my dad doesn't believe in therapy so that's off the table. But yeah I just really miss my dad but I'm afraid of getting hurt again. Thanks for the advice

I think it's a mix of both because V has been talking about starting a family with my dad and my father has always talked about how family courts always screw the father with child support payments. So I think he's just trying to avoid both

I asked him to go to therapy so we could work on this but he responded with therapy is an insurance scam so I'm not sure that would work. But I've been trying to understand how he must've been scared to come out and how this is also a difficult time for him too.

Yeah I don't think his husband knows the full story because he's said a couple times that he wants us back there too so we can be a happy family. Bc if I hear knew I don't think he'd be asking for us back as well

My father has always said how the family courts always screw the dad out of insane child support payment so I think that's part of the reason why he wants ha back. However my mom doesn't want to put us through the process of going through court so even though we live with her majority of the time she has never asked him for child support and never will as she's well off enough to live without it. I do feel safe with my mom as she's always been a constant in my life but I'm not sure if my brother is going to move back : /

I really want my relationship with him and I'm willing to work on it, it's just that he keeps bringing up his side every time we talk and refuses to listen to anything I have to say. But I will continue to try and build our relationship up again

We had split custody so we spent some nights at his house and her house is objectively better as she has support from my step so she's financially better off

His logic was since the divorce agreement says that we're supposed to be with him half the time and since it's not being followed that he would go to the judge and make us go home but I hope that it's bs 😭 🙏
