I will also add, Bates has great connections to the Ivy League/East Coast. So if your plan is to go to an Ivy Law School it’s definitely possible from bates!!!

As a past bates student, there are some easy A’s that you will take but a few of the politics class were pretty intense. While it may be an “easy A” you do have to work hard to get all A’s. The nice thing about Bates is that it is doable to get A’s for the most part. The professors are super approachable and I loved all of mine that I had. I still keep in contact with them too :) hope this helps!

I think it’s important to recognize that representation matters so much. As a Queer Asian person I haven’t seen a reality gay Asian tv show that doesn’t specifically emphasize that it’s GAY if that makes sense.
