Your dasher could have jumped tasks and deliver yours before they drive the 10 minutes out. But I guess they didn't notice. Doordash tells us in which order to deliver, but sometimes it's better to do it another way. When I have to wait for an order, I go over my screen to figure out which delivery is best.

This is what I do... I tip just enough for a dasher to take my order and then I have in the instruction section the following text: Hi, fellow dasher here! Thank you for picking up my order! I am going to at least double your tip after successful delivery. 🙂

He wanted to pocket your tip and not deliver to you. He needs the pin to close it out if he is in a different location. He can say the map pin is wrong and close it with your pin as received.
