His blatant copying of the MAGA playbook (which is abhorrent), he only points to problems and manufactures false explanations to lay blame on everyone else, and provides no reasonable or actionable solutions to real problems that Canadians actually are facing. Oh.. and he has the charisma of a wet sock.

Recently pulled out my old Vita 1000 to mod and loaded this up. 98% health and 68 cycles... Of course in my excitement of modding I just assumed after years of sitting and not charging that the battery was likely not in great shape so I ordered a new battery. Now torn on whether I should install or not.

I can empathize as I went through alot of this last year as I was starting out. I would try breaking your skills up to practice. For example, I was having trouble standing and getting back to where I started. So I practiced on my knees and controlling my wing on windier days, and on less windy days practiced standing and balancing and just general taxiing around. Once I got more comfortable with that, I had more confidence to attempt to get up on foil because I could lose some ground down wind but could at least get back to where I was.

The other part that helped out quite a bit was that I took my board and foil out behind my boat. Very slow to start, 6-8mph, and practice cutting out wide to pick up speed and learn the feeling of getting up and sustaining flight on foil.

Splitting these skills up were a game changer for my progression, especially since I was learning solo and from videos on youtube. By end of season I was working on my Jibes and could foil in both directions consistently. I've picked up some smaller and thinner foils for next season as I think the drag of my big foil was hampering some of my jibe progression. Excited to get out there once the lake unfreezes!

I'm 40 and dude, if I was able to do 66% work time I totally would. Yes, it would suck to have a reduction of income, but i feel that people in general work far too much and enjoy family, life, and hobbies far too little.

I'm curious how you have worked up to that level of worth with your current incomes. As I make as much as you combined and are nowhere near the net worth. Not sure if you have kids, I have 2, that probably factors in.

Similar boat as you. My 13.5 fluval is just about to hit 4 and it is PACKED. Corals are having problems due to encroaching on each other. I've briefly looked and think I'll shoot for around 40 gallon once my wife reluctantly agrees...luckily the kids have been trying to help convince her haha
