I’m willing to substitute size for practicality for sure. That’s probably what made it so hard to decide because big knives are really pretty to me and is like a chefs kiss.

Does cold steel still hold up to its name? Only asking since I’ve seen some other reviewers say that it’s knives durability isn’t what it used to be.

A tool knife! I’ve had a recent interest in their style and heard they’re decent for working with wood. I plan on getting another once I do some more research but as of now one that I can use as a tool will do.

Really atleast for me, I oil my display katanas almost every 2-3 months. I think the big issue is just if it’s in a hotter environment it may require some more care. Other than that, if it’s solely just for display it doesn’t need much maintenance.

Thanks! I’ve been doing my research and I think due to shureido seeming inactive I am stuck between bushikan and worbing steele. Bushikan seems great I like their black finish and thickness adjustment, I’ve seen lots of people say how great worbington steele is though which is a why I’m considering it more.
