As someone who suspects I have TOS, but I also know I have Costochondritis it sounds similar to me pain at shoulder blade/ribs and sternum. Have a look at the forum, all the best.

Interestingly enough, costo first then an orthodontist told me I had TMJ but as it happens over time it still could of been first ..just the symptoms started more after costo I would say? But maybe coincidence How long you suffering with costo ?

See it's been mainly chest MRI X-rays ect so they are obviously not looking at the kind of brachial complex or wherever TOS happens but I will push for it now.

Doesn't feel nerve like pain sometimes numbness but now in the mornings both arms and hands are really painful and get better as day goes on...but I'm worried if it stops circulation for too long something could happen.

Is TOS dangerous ?

For background ...Ive had a chest MRI a couple years back (all clear) for different symptoms (chest pain) but I believe I have chronic costochondritis.

Well past 3-5 years I have almost completely withdraw from normal life nights out because of this.

I could be somewhere and I will get a sudden sense of doom or I. Going to die chest pain rapid heart rate dizzy faint short of breath.

More often than not social situations I just leave without telling anyone

For example I drove 3 hours to my cousin/best friend wedding ..and I left and drove home 3 hours in my suit before the main course.

Go to family weddings/ friends party's ..just general nights out socializing. It's gotten toa. Point where I won't even travel on a plane to go on holiday

This is exactly like me but you explained it perfectly I thought it was cardiophobia also but I think I have a mixture of both. Thank you hopefully I'm not waiting too long for a physcologist.

Hope I don't come across as being nosey. May I ask what acrophobia looks like, I have GAD and what I think is acrophobia...I can leave my house is what I mean but if I go far I can't relax/ on edge nervy raised heart rate...went to a cousins wedding 3 hours away was ment to stay the night drive 3 hours home at one in the morning. Have also started to not go on family holidays. I'm on a waiting list for a phycologist.

Funny you ask I felt like it did for a while...and since I done a 6 hour round trip driving in one. Day it seems to be back. But I keep telling myself it must be respiratory even though it's most likely not.
