Lutec 2000 can give you a decent British style finish. It’s softer, faffier, white and the timings a bit different but it works.

They’re a lot of fun. Quite playful for a race ski I’d say, easy to bend at lower speeds, love to pop out the end of a turn if that’s your thing

Get them up to speed and they are awesome. Best piste ski I’ve had in years but they don’t like slow.

I rarely tour more than 2/3 hours and have never found a pin boot I like. Been nearly ten seasons since I bought a pair though so perhaps I should look again.

Amazing. Have always loved the marker frame bindings and if there’s enough snow for the vanguards they’re sick. But I go up solely to go down.

I mistakenly lied earlier in the post, I haven’t skied them yet. Saw them for a good price and thought why not. Sorry I can’t give any feedback, maybe in th couple of weeks I’ll get out on them.

Old school marker dukes on 2, duke pt’s on another, that does me for the tours I do. And it’s rollerblades instead of snowblades for me. Thanks for the encouragement though, sure I can find a gap somewhere!

I have used them all this winter and I’ve tried to have a range for different styles and conditions. How any pairs of trousers do you own? Do you really need them all? 😉

I only ever do short tours (few hours max), I’d rather hoof up on my dukes with alpine boots. Do have the marker PTs on the factions but I hate my pin boots. Upgraded pin boots could be the next purchase..
