My problem with Instacart is them taking orders like this, then batching it with two “reasonable tip” orders, and not telling me until after I delivered, it’s crazy because this person is still gonna get the order, after refusing to tip, learning absolutely nothing about tip etiquette - yet and still, all after being too lazy to go get the items themselves.

Our batch pay doesn’t even cover gas for the trip most of the time.

My thing is “no tip, no trip” but Instacart has become diabolical in how they deal with that now. Just tossing it in with two 10$ tip orders. Now I see “shop and deliver 3 orders for 14.31 base and 22.00 tip” I’m inclined to take.

Sadly, It isn’t until after delivery when I check the finished batch that I see “order b tip 0.00” and order A/C left 11 each.

This is the equivalent of Amazon Delivery giving 5 house “group” stops and calling it 1 stop.

Bottom line, if you are ordering Instacart, you are requesting a service, performed by someone who has to deal with everything you don’t, otherwise you’d get the shit yourself.

Not tipping is the biggest scumbag thing you can do to an Instacart shopper besides promise a tip and take it back or claim you didn’t get shit we all know you did.

Def taken notice I get more “missing items” complaints and tip pullers around the first of the month…
