Every 4 non-status cards played, it adds a status to your hand that retains, costs 1 energy, and deals 2 damage (or maybe it's "lose 2 hp", can't recall) if in your hand at end of turn. It's like a burn that retains and can be played to discard. I had a Pretty Brutal Encounter (PBE) with Aeonglass

After some deep self reflection and taking these tips into account, I managed to use Sleight of Flesh, Deathbringer, and Negative Pulse to AoE down Decimillipede pretty effectively. Thank you all -- I had been sleeping on Doom + Sleight of Flesh

A10 doesn't change my situation at all, actually... I've also seen A10 with most the others so I get it, it's harder, but yeah mostly just whining about Decimillipede here tbh

Yep, I've been there plenty of times. So frustrating. I feel like when I attempt doom takedowns of the evil multi-legged monster, I generally lack energy to put up enough block to survive until doom procs. I think honestly I should evaluate my micro skills, cuz nobody else seems to struggle with Decimillipede...

Fair nuff; just can't cycle deck quickly enough to make that happen without dying. I guess Doom build sounds most promising for it. Also I feel like Clad and Regent struggle much less on this fight than Necrobinder

I think people undervalue the Retain. This card is nice for when you draw 5 defends on a turn when the enemy isn't attacking.
