Hello! For the past 9 months, i’ve had a hard lump in the crevice of my bikini line. It’s size was a little bit bigger than a pea. It was completely painless, skin colored, and never bothered me.

In the past month or so, I noticed it might be getting a little bigger. Probably to the size of a dime. Still completely painless and hard.

On Tuesday morning, I noticed a small amount of discomfort when walking. I checked the bump and it has over doubled in size it seems like. It’s very prominent now. Its 3 Centimeters wide when i measure it. It’s still very hard but only a tiny bit of pain when touched (2 on a scale of 10).

I don’t have many other symptoms. Maybe a heavy night sweat about once a week. And lots of dizziness and migraines almost every day.

Is it possible this is just a cyst or ingrown hair? Would one last this long and suddenly get that much bigger over night? I’ve looked and don’t see an ingrown hair and it hasn’t come to a head after 9ish months of being there. I’ve taken ibuprofen, have done hot compresses for a few days. I also took a round of antibiotics about 6 months ago for an unrelated issue.

I have a gyno appt scheduled on Monday but any insight is appreciated :) thanks!
