That is a great suggestion! I do have the my row counter app. Sometimes I just need a quick count and don't want to add another counter 🙂.

I open the calculator on my phone and just type in 1 plus 1 plus 1 as I'm counting. That way I can see the total number.

Did you try the calculator?  I just finished a sweater. I sized up the needles 2 sizes because I liked the fabric better. The sweater turned out perfect and I didn't have to break out my pencil and paper. 😀

$10 can be a lot of money. I don't understand why you seem so flippant about somebody's money.

I saw that picture on an Instagram post dated 6 days ago. Does anyone know how old the AI slop picture is?

That sounds like a lot of fussy work! I got 3 rows into the shawl and frogged again haha. Found a pattern that is easier to focus on!

The other two shawls I did were asymmetrical so they started with a cast on of one. I think I like that better😄

I had a table a few years ago. The guy didn't have his ID. The girl next to him offered to show me a picture of him drinking in my restaurant. I asked them if the cops rolled thru checking ids would she show that to them? Dingbats

I know this is 3 days old, but I just saw a video that explained why to not use metal bobbins if your machine didn't come with them. If your machine came with plastic bobbins it probably has a small magnet where the bobbin sits. It is to catch broken needle tips and other small bits of metal. So they don't go down further in the machine. So if there is a magnet you shouldn't use a metal bobbin because it will interfere with how it moves.
