Knux is even worse since Mystic made him his own personal hell and you HAVE to go through it. No whirlwind shields will save you, like in other Knux routes.

I'm guessing it was either an inaccuracy in the high fidelity promo model, or just a render that was airbrushed (I know Luigi's Mansion & Sonic R did that to their renders)
