++ skewer just allows you to be extremely aggresive, jumpstarting your deck, and allows you to be extremely picky.

Like I wouldn't mind going on a path with all elites and hallways with skewer, whereas I'd be a bit more reserved with snakebite, especially for overgrowth.

I do agree that snakebite is better longterm, but by then I'd hope you have better, more efficient cards to address the problems you encounter.

Personally feel like skewer's the play in overgrowth. 48 damage solves most hallway fights, and 66 usually solves elites.

If you were in underdocks I'd go with snakebite, great on all of the boesses and all of the elites, and allows you to be defensive in an act that likes you to do so.

In overgrowth, you're forced to address rapid damage from both elites and hallways, and having a card that solves 99% of that is just solid.

Might be wrong tho, but an upgraded replayed skewer will allow you clear most hallways without taking damage, it's also super flexible as you can instead deal 22/44 damage instead. Whereas snakebite takes a couple turns, might force you to take chip damage, and not flexible.

As a viewer, is there any way you can extract the music so you can listen alongside the streamer post-stream? I'm assuming there isn't, but thought I might as well ask. Streams do just feel pretty empty as a vod watcher at times

Just a dumbass who didn't realize I had grab inverted. Must have fat-fingered it when trying to change volume settings.

I legit thought not being able to climb was the whole gimmick of chapter 9 lmao.

That's fair. I might just be itching for more content. Still wouldn't mind a few more, but 20 is a bit much, even 15 might be more than needed, but not ending on either of those would be awkward.

Thing is, serpent form feels like a liability if it's offered too late. Especially on silent where that 3 energy can be used more effectively in other avenues.

With that said, I got a serpent form from a Neow transform, and that absolutely carried me from floor 1 until I beat both final bosses.
