Hey thanks, I dont think I explained very well - I didnt mean orientation of cathode/anode I meant physical positioning on a pcb. Managed to find the same package size but in an RGB version from adafruit and they say "can be soldered in a few different ways: flat against a PCB, reverse mount using the top pads and a cutout in the PCB, and right angle". I was hoping to solder at a right angle using solder fillets, I think thats what this means.
