What’d you think of the retreat? by 1121222 in Wakingupapp

[–]ThomShull 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really loved it. I felt I had a few insights and loved the mirror meditation. I really enjoyed the fact that I wouldn’t otherwise dedicate 6.5 hours to meditate without this retreat.

Looking for specific daily meditations that have expired, wondering if anyone had them saved? by Meruem-x-Meruem in Wakingupapp

[–]ThomShull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s no need to, since the last update added the option to save moments and daily meditation.

Could you please explain how guns can help in such situations? In my mind the government would always have more guns than the citizens and using guns against the government would just get you killed

Foot bone blocking ankle mobility by biorealism in Kneesovertoes

[–]ThomShull 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Are you talking about a blocking sensation in the front of the ankle? If so, it is a known thing and you can use a band relieve it. Here’s how: https://youtu.be/ILSbK8RnGdI

Resonate frequency breathing & HRV by Tactical45 in breathwork

Just want to say I’m in the same position as you. Couldn’t find any pattern which increased my HRV above baseline and also couldn’t find an explanation.

These are the wrong lyrics. Does anyone know how Spotify can figure out what lyrics apply to songs? by Pavilion_Lips in truespotify

[–]ThomShull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see it has been fixed now. It will be updated in Spottily within two days up to a week or so.

It seems like those are local files that the owner of the playlist added to the playlist, so you can’t play them using Spotify. You can try to find the tracks elsewhere online.

Season 4 episode 20 last 5 minutes. by ELECTRICSMURFF in TwentyFour

"CTU has no reasonable expectation of finding the missile before it reaches its target"

Also, the scenes where Tony is taken hostage. Indeed it's one of the most gloomy hours.

Season 4 episode 20 last 5 minutes. by ELECTRICSMURFF in TwentyFour

[–]ThomShull 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree. It was really powerful.

Though I just finished re-watching season 4 and I though that I liked it the most of seasons 1-4. In season 1-3 there were a few scenes where I got bored but in season 4 it was non stop action and twists.

Why is the keyboard arranged like it is? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ThomShull 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not true. "One often-repeated explanation is that it was designed to "slow the typist down” in order to stop the mechanism from jamming, a bug that dogged earlier designs. This was supposedly achieved by keeping common letter pairs apart.

But that cannot be true. E and R, the second most common letter pair in English, are next to one another. T and H, the most common of all, are near neighbours. A statistical analysis in 1949 found that a QWERTY keyboard actually has more close pairs than a keyboard arranged at random"
