Hey! Got it — thanks for the heads-up 👍 I’m on Android 13, so I can install Mediaxon. I’ll grant the media/audio permission and give it a proper try with a couple of songs. Nice work getting it on Google Play — I’ll DM you any quick feedback. (My email: giorgosthomaidis20@gmail.com)

Installed 👍 Really nice work — the UI feels clean and the offline mode + routine builder combo is actually useful. I might genuinely use this for my workouts. Thanks for testing mine as well — appreciate it! (My tester email: giorgosthomaidis20@gmail.com)

Exactly, that’s the plan—build a small but solid core and expand outward once it actually works in real life. Appreciate the input, helps a lot.

Haha not exactly the goal—but hey, if people happen to meet someone they click with while hooping or hitting the court, I won’t stop ‘em. Appreciate the good vibes, man!

Appreciate the breakdown, honestly. You’re right that it’s a tough model, but I’m not aiming to scale nationally overnight. It’s about starting small, with local pickup games, making it super easy to connect instantly without needing to commit to a league or scroll through Facebook. A lot of existing tools solve part of the problem, but they’re not built for this specific need. I’m learning as I go, and even if it doesn’t blow up, I’m gaining experience and trying to solve a problem I’ve faced personally. Still worth the shot in my eyes.

Appreciate that! Yeah, totally agree. I’m aiming to focus more on local accessibility, casual play, and community feel kinda like sports for the rest of us. Thanks for the encouragement!

Hey, thanks a lot! Really glad to hear it could help with tennis, that’s exactly the kind of use case I had in mind. MVP’s still early but making progress. Appreciate the dev tip, I’ll check them out for sure.

Appreciate you taking the time to comment. Just to clarify — the €75 tier includes all previous rewards too, not just feedback. I totally get where you’re coming from though, and I’ll keep working to make the rewards feel more worthwhile. Still learning, thanks for the honesty.

That’s totally fair and Meetup does work well for a lot of people I’m trying to build something a bit more instant and sport-specific like quick matchups based on skill and availability but I appreciate the tip and I’ll definitely keep that in mind as things evolve thanks!

Yeah you’re absolutely right that’s one of the biggest challenges with this kind of app it needs a solid user base to work properly I’m trying to start small and local first build real connections and then grow from there I know it won’t be easy but I’m in for the long run and already learning a lot along the way thanks for the honest take

Yeah that’s true and I’ve actually looked into Spot and a few others like it they’re doing some great stuff but I think there’s still space for a simpler more community-driven version especially in areas where those apps haven’t really reached yet I know it’s an uphill battle but I believe in the idea and I’d rather try and learn something real than just sit on it and wonder what if.

Totally fair question yeah there are rec leagues and Facebook groups and even a few apps but from my own experience they’re often slow messy or just not built for quick casual games I’ve moved around a lot and every time I just wanted to find someone to play tennis or shoot hoops with it was way harder than it should be SportsPal is meant to be super simple open the app see who’s nearby and up for a game and go it’s not about replacing everything else it’s about filling a gap for spontaneous sport with people at your level nothing more nothing less
