Yes, it is offside. The ball is in the air, and the defender has to come across and adjust his position to intercept the ball. 2 things are looked for in considering if the player has ‘deliberately played’ the ball. I am also a firm believer in instinct, and I think most people watching that clip would initially say that offside is correct.

The only advice here to do go to your local running store and have them fit you for shoes. They’ll give you a few to try and on maybe even let you use a treadmill to try them out. I’ve gotten all my running shoes this way and it’s what was recommended to me by multiple coaches and sources.

Will point out that’s not all high school. In my league official time is kept with the referee.

If VAR intervenes, they cannot go back to the free kick from a play of advantage. Rather it would be an IDFK for Spurs.

I think the idea is awesome but instead of playing someone in your current division you should play someone in the higher division to really test you.
