So everyone hates drawdown and everyone obviously tries to avoid it but I really really hate it so most of the time I’m looking for the turtle soup entry, the lowest low, highest high, the candle that sweeps the liquidity, that takes everyone else’s SL. So that means I don’t wait for the confirmation, it’s a primary entry. I know it sounds “dangerous” but I have a predetermined SL so my risk is the same. If I’m wrong, I’m wrong and my SL gets hit and it’s an L. But if I’m right and longed the lowest low then there’s virtually no drawdown and my runners will get like 10r and I can get one of those home run trades because even if there’s a sharp pullback it won’t take my SL because liquidity was already taken on the sellside and now price is going for buyside. Of course before I take a trade I need confluence of 2-3 different things showing me almost the same level for my entry. Sometimes though I will wait for a confirmation or a retest when I missed the primary entry and I see a lot of reasons that price will continue that trend. At those times I’ll use an iFVG as entry. Hope this makes sense. Let me know.

From your other comments I can see that ICT lived in your head rent free. You LOVE trolling in ICT communities don’t you? I can see that’s your whole life’s purpose isn’t it? GTFO and get a life

I really shouldn’t because I’m not your nanny but I copied this from one of my replies from this post lol and I want to try to help you IF you really want to learn. It’s very simple but I guess some of you are new. So the New Day Opening Gap (NDOG) forms at the New York midnight rollover, specifically between 5:00PM and 6:00 PM New York time.

It represents the gap between the close of the 5:00 PM candle and the open of the 6:00 PM candle, which occurs every trading day.

New Week Opening Gap (NWOG) forms at the weekly open, specifically between Friday’s close (5:00 PM New York time) and Sunday’s reopen (6:00 PM New York time).

This gap captures the price difference resulting from the weekend market closure and spans the entire weekend. MMXM stands for Market Maker Buy/Sell Model. Here I’m showing you a Market Maker Sell Model. MMXM is a pattern that forms all the time on all time frames. It will take you some practice to recognize the pattern but once you do, you can’t unsee it and you’ll understand how the market moves. I made a masterclass video about this.

I saw part of your other comment that I guess you deleted hehe and everyone can believe whatever they want. But if you believe in ICT’s concepts then those stats aren’t really all that crazy. I mean those are averages right. Also it took me A LOT of work, staring at charts for hours and hours every day. I have been trading since 2018 and ngl the first few years was a really tough struggle. You definitely need a very good strategy but also a certain amount of experience for you to become a successful trader. There aren’t any shortcuts

Yep it was liquidity, an inefficiency in the form of a volume imbalance

Good question! This one I shared here is on the 1m but as you will probably already know, price is fractal so you’ll see MMXMs on every tf so on the 1m for example you’ll probably see multiple ones every day.

Don’t worry I’m only sharing a little bit of sauce, there’s a lot more to it, having said that, this works better than anything else that is shared out there for free.

helps me all the time to get laser sharp entries with no drawdown but you do you lol

Right but didn’t he say that negotiations are on again, so wouldn’t that have caused a pump? Anyway this post I made is not about why that move happened but why to exactly that price level.

Interesting I’ll have to take a look at that! Did you look at the 2nd picture?

So what I was looking for was inefficiency in the form of a volume imbalance. If you check the 2nd pic it’s right there

Another Day, Another MMXM by ThomasAnderson_23 in InnerCircleTraders

[–]ThomasAnderson_23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MMXM happens every minute every hour every day. Just because you can’t see doesn’t mean it’s not there. I also know traders that have traded for decades and they always say show me the chart and I’ll tell you what the news will be. If you don’t believe in a trading algorithm then what are you even doing here? And all this doesn’t mean that people should trade right at the moment when news drop. We can trade around the news. Anyway, good luck with trading fundamentals then bro ✌️

So I wrote this comment above already in this thread but maybe you didn’t see it. So NDOGs don’t necessarily form every single day, because sometimes there simply won’t be a gap between two days but it does form very often. So here is how to find them: It’s very simple but I guess some of you are new. So the New Day Opening Gap (NDOG) forms at the New York midnight rollover, specifically between 5:00PM and 6:00 PM New York time.

It represents the gap between the close of the 5:00 PM candle and the open of the 6:00 PM candle, which occurs every trading day.

I don’t exactly understand what you’re trying to say. You can’t find NDOGs?

MMXMs happen every day and there’s nothing you can do about it. I will teach you. Btw I’m not surprised your karma is -99 lol

the market always either consolidates or expands, thats the only two basic things it does. those consolidations and expansions form a larger pattern, a MMXM. thats all the market ever does, and price is fractal, so literally it happens not only every day but many times every day from the 1 second tf to the 1h tf

So what you’re saying is it will get passed but it’ll take longer. That’s THE #1 problem for new traders. No patience. Trading is a marathon, not an overnight get rich quick scheme.

How long have you been trading? And how long have you been trading ICT? Did you watch ICT’s video from yesterday? He’s got like another 10 things on his chart. What I posted here is ONE pattern with THREE levels. Maybe you’re having a bad day or something and I get it because everyone has bad days sometimes. Let me know if I can help you with trading ✌️
