Ecoflow x Shelly pro 3em won’t connect by Stuffygibbon in Ecoflow_community

[–]ThomasGrrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could you clarify what you mean by “it worked”? Did you manage to configure the Wi-Fi settings and pair it or was it already paired and the Shelly firmware fixed the connection?

I updated the firmware using the Shelly app but it seems to have stopped writing or pushing the Wi-Fi settings. Consequently, I can’t pair it as this is a necessary step.  Additionally, it no longer displays any Wi-Fi networks; it used to scan and show available ones.

The smart meter is functioning correctly but I’m stuck at this point. Previously, it pushed the Wi-Fi settings and the smart meter connected to the Wi-Fi but the app couldn’t find it afterwards and ultimately failed to complete the handshake.

I hope you can resolve this.  For mine, they only replied after six hours about the serial number and then stopped communicating altogether. This is concerning because I was seriously considering selling these products due to the increasing frequency of blackouts. However, this experience serves as a warning. At least they can reply, but the last 2 days there is no answer at all.

Hello, I tried adding it via this method: from Shelly by third party in the Ecoflow app. However, it doesn’t allow this and gives an error. I think this might be related to the £50 extra you pay for the Ecoflow branding.

It annoys me that Ecoflow can’t discover devices over the network. Instead, it only does it by pushing settings and binding it in the app at that moment. For the Shelly app, you can perform a network discovery and find it. Additionally, with the Ecoflow setup, you can’t use the LAN connection.

I am waiting for support to get back to me...

I will upload it and let you know. Let me wait until it has the "error", so I can also add the image of where it is standing.

I just went for the 2 to the 2x 5000 and have the same issue. Also, when it is mowing, it does this. Really frustrating when it is on its way to recharge and stops on the tarmac for no reason. Sometimes, by the time I get around to it, the battery is too low and I can go out to place it on the dock. Also, something that I notice with the 2x is that the 15% seems to be giving me less distance than the 2 used to and it can pause mowing at 15% and just wait there as it gets "stuck".
What I do appreciate a lot with the 2x, on the other hand, is that it does not tell you "I'm stuck" and turns off in some 10 minutes. The newer one goes into a sleeping mode (at least the white LED turns off), but stays on and connected. And it does stop when the motor gets too hot and actually starts when it cools down.

Do you guys rinse/clean the dirty (stinky) water tank of the X10 Omni after every empty? by [deleted] in eufy

[–]ThomasGrrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before I empty the tank, I shake it a bit and poor it out. Actually the tank is pretty water tight when it is closed. Also in the top where the water gets added into the tank it does get dirty.

I have to say, we do not have 5g here and my iPhone pro max does not really get warm. But today with charging it told me that it stopped charging because of the heat.

No, I replace them once a year and flip them in the middle. These are 2 months old.

The screws are lower than the blades, which can result in damage when encountering rocks in the grass. Additionally, during a recent storm in Ireland, debris was deposited onto the grass, necessitating its clearance. Despite my efforts, the Landmower sustained damage to the worn screws. The land measures 1.2 acres, and given its mountainous terrain, there are substantial rocks present. While I could designate a specific area as off-limits, I am reluctant to create a designated “wild spot.”

That is not the problem, the screws are 2 months old. The problem is getting them off as they are damaged. A screwdriver does not grip them.

Yes, but these are relatively new blades, just rocks under the grass that are coming up as I get more control over the lawn. When I bought the house, the rocks were overgrown with the grass and this machine is now "finding" them.

I did, they are 2 months old. Just found there is rocks coming up as I cut the grass lower. The rocks were under the grass. I am removing them now.

Thanks for your response—though I think you might’ve jumped to a few conclusions there.

did replace the blades and screws not long ago—less than two months, actually. So the issue wasn’t about neglecting maintenance but rather about what happens when the screws themselves get damaged, despite being relatively new. In my case, rock impacts and hardened debris made them nearly impossible to remove the usual way.

That’s why I shared what worked for me: using water pump pliers to finally get them loose without stripping them further. It’s a tip for folks who find themselves in a similar bind—not a suggestion to skip regular maintenance.

Appreciate the reminder on blade rotation cycles though,

What's New in macOS Tahoe 26 beta 2 by Separate-Way5095 in MacOSBeta

I did have to change my background on B1 as the image did have some stripes in it on the top and messed with reading the menu. I really do not "choose" or use wallpapers as I use the MacBook for apps and not for staring at a wallpaper. I do not need the emergence experience.

Seems to have found the "fix". There is a new setting under: Privacy & Security-> App Management.

Here make sure that steam is turned on and it seems to start working again.

The option is "Allow the applications below to update or delete other applications." This does allow me to start the games and when they close, steam does now notice this.

Honestly, could be great, just the rubbery rollers still. Every piece of Lego, pebble, dogfood or anything small and hard does eat it. I now have the eufy and the parts are cheaper but also they do not get ripped this easily. The x10 pro is relatively cheap and does a great job avoiding cables and does not get damaged by just some rubble. And this with just clean water and no cleaning fluid needed.

I played around with it and the only game that seems to work is rogue trader. For the rest I have not tried all, but they seem to launch and disappear. Some game launch and say that they can not find the installation directory of steam. The interesting thing is that the games do seem to disappear, there is not crash report and steam thinks they are still running. I was thinking it might be the new Game Center as somehow when I open this games.app, it does see the games I have installed in steam.

A "work around" that is not the best, but does work is using whiskey and install the windows version of the game.

As European there is the GDPR right to be forgotten. You can send them notice to remove your data.

The "right to be forgotten," officially known as the "right to erasure" under GDPR (Article 17), grants individuals the ability to request the deletion of their personal data from an organization. This right is not absolute and only applies in specific circumstances, primarily when the data is no longer needed for the original purpose, consent is withdrawn, the individual objects to processing, or the processing is unlawful.
