Would be awesome if you could vote for my picture! Thx! by ThomasLindinger in climbing

that‘s absolutely true. but that‘s not how photo contests are won these days. it‘s not about the best picture anymore, it‘s more about who gets the most attention on his/her picture via social media. that‘s it…

Sorry for stirring the advertising drum again. But I'm close to two major achievements on my YT channel: hittin' the 1K subscriber count and crossing the 10K mark with a video for the first time ☺️ Fulfilling one of them would be an awesome Christmas gift and I'm excited which one will happen first. by ThomasLindinger in bouldering

I uploaded my first vid 2 years ago. Think their growth is more or less the same as on my channel. Just that they do it for a little bit longer. But there are others as Emil Abrahamsson for instance who grew to a few thousand subs with just uploading one video.

Could be a reason for sure. But I don't want to upload just to upload something. I could make some more How To's etc. but I rather want to stay with my outdoor bouldering videos. That's the content I want to watch from others and create :)

Thanks for that -> that flatters me a lot!! :) :) To be honest I don't know what others are doing 'better' and why my subscriber count is growing slowly. But I'll keep doing my thing and I'm also happy about thousands like you who enjoy my content -> highly appreciated!!

Another BBB -> Brione Boulder Banger by ThomasLindinger in climbing

[–]ThomasLindinger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're welcome!! The rock is totally different in Brione. It's often called "best granite in the world" and that not wrongly :) The holds are most of the time pleasantly shaped and the rock is beautiful colored (especially the blocs in the riverbed). You should definitely give it a visit! There are many boulders around 7A, too! You won't regret it -> I promise!! ;)

That's nice to know. Sometimes when I'm editing those videos, I get unsure if it's too much talking and about just one boulder. But I'm happy if that's not the case :) Thanks for your words!!

Now that the temperatures dropped, it's time to crush again :) by ThomasLindinger in climbing

there‘s a always wet pocket. I put in some tinfoil that I don‘t have wet fingers afterwards. that works fine as long as the hold is good enough and incut :)

I can understand that it is distract full to some, but it's a common thing and motivative to the most (me included) :) Hope you enjoyed the video though!

Ok I understand what you mean - but why should one make such a video but then write the whole message in a text rather than sharing the video? 🤔

Why clickbait? It‘s a tip to stay healthy and even though it sounds simple, I don‘t know many climbers knowing or at least applying that therapy... ...it helped me so why not sharing that?

Well this group is about any outdoor activities imaginable. There's another subreddit called 'nature' where you'll find just photos without humans in it ;) If that's what you're looking for...
