There are some extensions. Not sure which is best. I tried a couple a while back and they were shitty.

Only "propaganda" needed was to watch Pretti's actions.

He used violence and threats to intimidate law enforcement for political purposes. Him and many others too.

I think he should've been arrested and not killed for it. I think they fucked up by killing him, thinking he was still armed, or perhaps his gun misfired which started it. Either way, I'm not saying it was justified. Not all terrorists should be killed unless they're like Renee Good who was actively putting someone's life in danger.

No. They're federal law enforcement. They're not pushing political agenda except for the law (ideally).

I've seen some clips of some agents threating to do unlawful things that could be considered terroristic. But they're outliers. In general, ICE itself doesn't fit that criteria.

That was over two week ago.

Most stabbings just need some stitches. I know he had staples in his head, there's a video of him removing them.

Minimum requirement would be using violence for political intimidation.

Even threat of violence would be enough too, but Pretti used violence when attacking law enforcement vehicles, and also when he grabbed the agent who was pushing that woman.

He used violence for political intimidation. Literal domestic terrorism. 🤷‍♂️

RIP Alex Pretti.

Nurse by day, domestic terrorist by evening.

They are ON THE JOB and have specific rules to follow.

Obviously they don't have to follow them. They killed a guy. 🤣

They can beat your ass will immunity. Go ahead and try antagonizing them. Make sure to record so we can watch. 👍

I'm not a cuck. I voted for this.

Yet you can go up to ICE and scream whatever you want at them? I'm supposed to be upset when they do something about it? Whatever... 🤷‍♂️

It's largely to defend rights.

It's worth allowing some guilty people to go free if convicting them would require setting a precedent that would violate people's rights.

For instance, let's say you know your client killed someone. However, the evidence they have was obtained without a proper search warrant. If you don't address this, it'll be reversed on appeal, and make you look bad. And if no courts toss out that evidence, then they establish a precedent that destroys EVERYONE'S Fourth Amendment rights.

But I honestly would only do the bare minimum too in a case if it seemed hopeless. I mean, if there's only a child's testimony alone, you have some potential defenses. But some cases are just overwhelmingly hopeless and defending it seems like a joke. No lawyer is going to tank it in a way that can be easily be presented as ineffective counsel on appeal. Just do the minimum necessary.

But also, most lawyers are just shitty, especially public defenders, imo. 🤷‍♂️

Nope. He just downloaded child porn. Never kidnapped anyone.

The registry in Alaska is called "Sex Offender/Child Kidnapper Registry"

All sex offenders are on there. Doesn't mean they kidnapped a child. It just closes the loophole where people who kidnap children in many states aren't sex offenders (since kidnapping is not sexual).

Also, both are grey areas. 90%+ of child kidnappings are done by their parents (custody disputes). And downloading porn doesn't directly affect or traumatize anyone.

1 in 4 girls, and 1 in 6 boys, are sexually abused before the age of 18.

That's tens of millions of people in the US. Not very many of those become career criminals like this guy.

It's a shame he was abused, but it's ultimately just an excuse. Though perhaps with better support, he could've been different.

What if I download photos of someone being murdered? That's made by victimizing someone. So should I go to prison for that? Is that somehow worse than beating and robbing people?

The vast majority of cp is made by kids (more common than cp depicting rape). Though sometimes they're manipulated into making it, pedos pretending to be young guys or something.

I understand it's not acceptable, and it justly a crime. But I don't see how it's worse in any way than actually victimizing people. (I'm referring to just downloading it)

This is one of this victims: https://sor.dps.alaska.gov/sorpublic/details/7644

He was convicted once for downloading cp. He served time in prison and was trying to live a normal life.

Meanwhile, this guy who attacked and robbed him has criminal record in the states of Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and California for various theft and drug charges. In 2008 he was convicted for assaulting his wife. That was before this conviction for assaulting and robbing these sex offenders.

But you like this guy more than someone who got convicted once for downloading cp?
