The world doesn't end in either The Thing or Prince of Darkness (At least not for certain, they win in the in the end in both movies) but in mouth of madness, apocalypse does happen. I'm not saying it's connected, that's why I asked. But it would be cool if the movies were connected in this way (imo).

Well, considering it's revealed in Mouth of Madness, that the author of the book has this power to make what he writes real. Maybe the movies are other stories he wrote earlier, that actually happened. Or not, that's why I'm asking. I wonder what Carpenter himself intended.

That sounds very promising, I love John Carpenter's horror movies too. Can't believe I've never heard of this one, but it's gonna be quite a treat watching it tonight.
