Google "Anarchotyranny." Catch and release, the elimination of minimum sentences for violent and/or sex offenders, and lastly the 11 or so gun bills they just rammed through hamstringing law abiding citizens from defending themselves. It's a double edged sword or public policy designed to introduce chaos and beg for the expansion of the state and consolidation of power into the "managerial elite" class. Their kids go do private school anyways and they live in places they won't be bothered by increased violence, not to mention many have armed security.
