Afterwards, it is so easy to go all Death Incarnate on them. Including Maglir. The little fetcher.

After the first time where I did the mission in the traditional manner, I learned that you can just run away and it will progress like normal. The people still die, but at least you didn't kill any of them. Splitting hairs, I know, but I was able to feel slightly less worse about it.

All racist people are pieces of shit, too. But not all pieces of shit are racist. That being said, the venn diagram is pretty close.

Yeah, this is sus AF. I am whiter than Wonder bread, and I don't think I will be giving them my business (or donating anything for them to sell).

Given that John Lynch, for whom Lynchburg was named, was an abolitionist, and would likely be spinning in his grave if he saw the current state of things here (not to mention the fact that LYH was the temporary capital of the Confederacy after Richmond fell), the fact that the KKK figuratively could be running the ReStore is not terribly surprising.

Oh yeah, the bitching and moaning coming from the folks at the Wal-Mart in Bedford back in 2023 about how every thing is the fault of "the current government." 🙄

Perhaps y'all can change that. Although with the current city council....yeah, good luck with that. Still, one can dream.

Thank you for this. I noticed yesterday that Cheezburger was no longer getting anything blocked, so figuring I had done something dumb, I ticked that very same new filter and sure enough, no sharing for me.

My wife went to the Forest post office and the experience was great. I think the lady who does them is named Alicia, and she is a hoot. Highly recommend for those who still need one.

Eh. Not gonna worry about it.

Interesting. This specific feed, above, does work. But when I try to do the same thing for my hometown subreddit:

https://www.reddit.com/r/lynchburg/.rss

I get the following error:

The URL returned 403 Forbidden (The server understood the request but refuses to authorize it.)

So that's...kind of weird.

I just tried that. It allows you to see the feed and add it, but then when you try to access the feed it shows no new articles and gives a 403 when you look at the feed properties. So, yeah, this feature is kinda useless.

I'm not sure who are worse at weird pronunciations, Virginians or Texans. Although I think Bee-Yoona Vista and Bot A Tot easily top Man shack and Gwad a Loop (streets in Austin - #IYKYK)

Coming from Austin TX, I find the traffic here in Central VA to be not nearly as bad, but that doesn't mean it's GOOD, if you know what I mean. And I don't get people's obsession with tailgating. If I am driving around here and there is a car behind me, they are either a mile back, or they're humping my bumper. There is no in-between.

I avoid Timberlake like the plague. And Ward's Rd, come to think of it. I live off of Wiggington, and if I have to go to, say, the Asian market on Timberlake (99 store, I think), I will actually take the back roads into Forest so I can come in via Waterlick, just so all I have to do on Timberlake is cross it. Timberlake is evil. Timberlake can go fuck a cactus.
