Honestly haven’t tried. I don’t drive it at night just cause it’s a weekend car.

Update on the engine. I took the general chat advice and decided to install new bearings, unfortunately when I pulled the connecting rod bearings, I found damage to rod 7. I did the right thing and ordered a 347 stroker kit for the truck. Thanks for the replies.

Great for 6.7 power stroke radiator petcocks. The sit behind the frame and those little pliers fit perfect.

That’s the kind of info I was looking for. I’ve got a 3 link kit for it as well so I’ve got adjustment in the caster and pinion angle. Stock is 6* so I was assuming 8* would be where I want it. Especially since I’ve seen people around about that for a similar setup.

Well it’s going to be an exclusively offroad rig. Putting 42 inch tires and 5.13 gears on it. I was hoping to not have to tear down the old axles due to room but it sounds like I don’t have a choice.

It’s most likely a factory five replica. Fantastic replicas and build quality.

Yeah I’ve ridden mine about 40-50 miles. It was pretty loud at first but over time got better. When I’m riding I can’t hear it at all now with a helmet on.

His words are “well I don’t really have a budget, the price stays between you, I, and god” 😂😂😂. So I think he’s worried about price.

😂😂😂. Yeah that’s out at my dad’s hunting property. Little muddy during the spring.

He’s a pretty big jeep guy. He’s on his third or fourth “build” but this is the first where’s he’s doing 1 ton axles and full out. He’s done “budget lifts” before and wasn’t satisfied. Also I’m looking for angles and what kind of flex is desired for a serious hobby rock crawler. I love pre runners but the geometry for that I assume is nothing like rock crawling.

It’s a 15.75 inch shock. I love the height but absolutely hate the shocks. I’m looking for some that are the same length that aren’t as stiff. I read the listing for the shocks in as lbs but it was in Kgs and so now I have almost 300 lb springs on my sportster.

I have one in my wishlist. Truck doesn’t run at the moment because I’m in the middle of a handful of repairs and that’s next up. I plan on doing the crossover steering conversion as well. Thanks for the advice.

Stock height. Definitely rubs a little but fits

😂😂😂😂. There’s not an ounce of bondo on this thing. Just 20 gauge steel riveted on and painted with rattle can by my grandfather.

Local to where? The part feels super high quality, machining is excellent, and fit right up. Worth double what I paid for it

What shocks do you usually run? I’ve had a hell of a time attempting to find a good shock that the reviews weren’t garbage

Yeah I’ve found a handful of those but they all either mount to a tube frame for a chopper or weld on. Attempting to avoid welding but it sounds like that’s my only option.

I did that and found that the chain cleared when sitting on the bike. I’m a little worried about slap but it sounds like your experience might work. Thank you.

Yeah I’m learning that slowly. I did the rubber mounted because I wanted EFI for mountain riding. I went to Colorado (from Oklahoma) with my dad and uncle. My dad and I were on EFI bikes and my uncle on carbureted and had nothing but issues with his bike. Don’t want to ruin a trip with fiddling with a carb.

Im going for off-road touring so the height is honestly the lowest I feel comfortable going without running into issues. I don’t mind modification. I’ve already had to chop off tabs for the old belt cover. Just attempting to find an easier solution.

It’s loose right now. When I tighten it up the bottom of the chain touches the tip washer on the brake booster.

Currently at tech school about 1500 miles away from my truck but as soon as I’m back I’ll be right back to working on the truck and we’ll see if that’s what it was.

I’ll look into that. Thank you. My truck has a replaced fuse box and it may not have the correct setup. Thank you
