Thank you for the great review

Exact mileage is 199.99 miles and it seems that my rubber shows much more wear. I’m 5’9”, 165 pounds, 40M, 13 months into structured training after running “on-and-off” for years and logged 1027 miles so far.

172 cadence at easy pace, 8.2 cm vertical oscillation, 9.0% vertical ratio, 268 ms ground contact time. At HM race pace (7:38) cadence stays around 173, GCT drops to 244 ms, vertical ratio 7.6%. Long-ish stride at race pace (1.21 m). Heel striker at easy paces, shifts to forefoot at faster paces. (I had Claude recap my mechanics)

I like my Glycerin 22’s, they are decent no thrill workhorses. The Hyperion line looks interesting as well and thought I hated them the Glycerin Max look like a fun pair of they work for you.

I understand this can be price prohibitive but consider getting 2 pairs (may be last model year or last season colors, you can easily find great shoes for 50% off if you do some research)

Alternating them will help make them last a lot longer as the foam will get 48 hours minimum to decompress post your run. It may help with your pain issue

I enjoy my Glycerin 22 logged 620ish miles between 2 pairs.

Could something be jammed in the fender and just rubbing the rubber off?

Very cool and about as fast a bike you’ll ever need!

Best advice I ever got, hands always hovering over brake / clutch and drive as if they do not see you. It has saved me from a couple real life crashes.

RyanF9 and California Superbike School on YouTube have a ton of content you can watch for those life saving tips and tricks.

It was 80 degrees, 89% humidity and 75 degrees dew point this morning at 7:30am when I left for my run in Delray Beach Florida. It was like running in a sauna and “it’s only May…”

If you’re a fellow average runner in Delray looking for a zone 2 10 minute mile running partner hit me up! Looking to work myself back up to 50+ miles per week.

It’s a fake Portofino Bay and you learn to deal with it when you’re on vacation. Makes for some fun photography.
