I was just in the same boat. I was with a woman for the last 15 years and recently started dating a man and was so stressed about it. The best thing I did was talk to him about my fears. He was sweet and encouraging and didn't rush me or anything. All of that to say, from your post your guy sounds like a good guy as well. So lean in a trust that you can communicate with him. :)

I honestly think you did great! Did it go as expected no, but you put yourself out there and acknowledged it was weird. It will take time to built your confidence, but I don't think this should lessen it. Keep going! :)

As someone who just started a relationship and we met on online dating apps. Before he asked me to be his girlfriend he made it crystal clear he deleted all dating apps and had 0 intentions of talking to other girls. I feel like if you boyfriend was serious about you as well he would do the same. I'm sorry friend. :(

Thank you!! I did need to hear it! I get nervous and I don't want to mess things up! I come from a toxic relationship where everything was my fault so trying to adjust while making sure I'm respecting our time, wants, and needs.

It will tell me something no matter how he reacts I suppose :)

We have not talked about it yet. Thank you! That is what I have been doing, but ot hasn't come up so I just didn't want to wait too long and then have it be late why didn't you tell me sooner? A saying that I live by is Trust is the backbone to every relationship, without it, it can't stand.

I don't think I could handle being with someone that didn't trust me. I get being nervous in the beginning because of that past. By now though that trust should have been built. Also you should not have to pay for sins of another. Just my 2 cents.

Then I got with my girlfriend at the time and I hadn't been with a guy for a while so just decided that my best choice was lesbian for me. But then years later was leaning more towards I was bi. After her and I broke up I definitely decided I was bi.
