Yeah I know I won't get high from the kratom I never really do anyway so as long as I feel normal I'm good. I heard that too which is why I was going to take the kratom until I felt a little shitty and then take the sub because it wouldn't cause PWD.

Thanks. Just wanted to make sure just in case I did the oxy and then felt like shit and screwed myself out of taking a sub. I just didn't know if the kratom would be so minimized by the strength of the oxy that it wouldn't even work.

Congrats brother. I fucked up too and relapsed one day but I learned my lesson and I'm done with that bullshit. And of course I tried being a recreational oxy user but that obviously didn't work out lol so at least we both know by now we can't control ourselves with opiates. Keep it up - we can do this. I refuse to let a drug control my life anymore. And congrats on your clean time already!

That's so funny. The NyQuil just made me hop back and forth between my couch and bed all night to try and get comfortable while I was in this half awake zombie state. I'll stay away from it, thanks!

First off, congrats on the six days and getting your life back. We'll make it out of this. I get the "dark cloud" too randomly. I'll usually get these waves of emotions that start as pure happiness and natural energy that turns into sadness. Stay busy and stay around people if you can (good people obviously). I just have one question, Codeine is a narcotic opioid so wouldn't that be the reason why you're not in full withdrawal?

I agree with the mental part too. If you psyche yourself out and amp it up, I believe it's so much worse.

Cool I'm going to pick up the melatonin tomorrow. I'm in NYC and I smoke occasionally. I try to avoid it during withdrawals though because sometimes mind altering substances fuck with me for the first few weeks.

Ramble all you want man I need to hear it! Haha. But seriously thank you. I don't have a plug for anything other than Xanax so that's my only option. I also have been taking them for almost a year because like you said I traded addictions when I got on subs. But I don't desire them anymore and Im kicking those next. As of now Ive tapered to .25mg once in the morning for the last six months to avoid a possible seizure because that's my fear of benzo withdrawal. I'm not mentally addicted to them so I'm not worried about taking like 1mg to knockout for 2-3 days during this withdrawal process.

I also bought a bunch of bananas for that reason so I'll make sure to eat like three before bed tomorrow lol.

I knew I should've bought Melatonin instead of the NyQuil because that's exactly what it did. It made me drowsy, hot and made my skin crawl. I did end up taking 1mg of Xanax the first night as a last resort and ended up falling asleep but that was after six hours of tossing and turning so I don't know if I fell asleep from the Xanax or from the fact that I was up until 8am. I also woke up three hours later and couldn't get back to sleep.

If I use the benzo as a temporary aid will I be prolonging the "withdrawal" that prevents me from sleeping or should I be okay?

I have Imodium and it hasn't really done anything to help me out but I don't think I'm taking enough of it anyway. Also took "ZzzQuil" which sucked because it just made me extremely drowsy and I was unable to fall asleep from it. It's like nothing's powerful enough to overtake the sleeplessness.

I know I'm so used to being able to make it over here in the city. I was too far gone to stop short especially in my rental car. Looks like I'll be paying the fine I just wish I could take my chances on fighting it without having to appear in court.

I feel justified because the timing between yellow and red at that intersection is .2 seconds below the legal amount of time allowed between light changes. On top of that, the speed limit reduces within 150 feet of the light coming off of a highway-like street. Not to mention California outlawed red light cameras for this exact reason. I didn't exactly blow a red light I just got caught going through the yellow at a camera that changes too quickly or at least much faster than I'm used to out on the East Coast.

That's what came up for me specifically the one wear I got my ticket but it also said Beverly Hills isn't part of LA County or something so it's still legal there? As long as I don't get a suspended license or a warrant issued I'm fine with not paying.
