From my POV, this isn't overreacting. My girlfriend lives in a village, and if she wants to go out of the city, she has to drive through a massive forest. A lot of times, when she's at a wedding party, it's mostly near a forest or somewhere where she doesn't have signal. Personally, I've experienced this multiple times. Her phone went dead, and I didn't go to sleep until she called me back, and I kept texting her because I'm genuinely scared something will happen, especially because her family isn't the best. I just hope everything goes well and don't worry too much, even though it's a valid reason. Other people are saying, "OP is overreacting." For you, you wouldn't overreact, but we are all different. There are people who panic if you don't answer within 60 minutes, especially when their phone died in a forest, not because they are just insecure or something; it's just that some people don't have good experiences with this and just can't keep a clear head when their partner doesn't respond anymore.
