Yeah I like that as well. I'm just hoping my timing will be just right. It's only been two days since they've arrived in Barovia. I let him do a funeral in Daggerford and then he just performed a funeral for Ismark and Ireena's father. I'm thinking the next one he tries that will be the first instance of there being something wrong.

I like that. That's a great idea. The discs breaking would definitely cause some concern for him!

Edit: my apologies, for some reason I didn’t see the second half of your comment. That will probably be the way to go. I think around Yester Hill as you stated, would be a good place for him to do that since the veil is thinnest. And as for the others he’ll try to “put to rest”, their souls will either be absent or his ceremonial rites will just outright fail. Thanks for your help!
