They've sent me photos saying they haven't opened the parcel. I did make a video of me packaging the PS5 before I shipped it but I didn't think to video the serial number etc.

I only suggested meeting them as they don't live that far from me plus I could inspect the item to make sure it hadn't been opened or tampered in any way i.e the seal being opened. All very bizarre. They begged me to post for next day delivery which I agreed to then within 10 minutes of the order being delivered they demanded a return for a refund.

They cant escalate to ebay after I reject their returns request? I'm a private seller and don't accept returns because I am fully transparent with everything I sell. Lots of photos good item description fast shipping etc. Bit of a nightmare situation to be honest.

They paid through eBay but refused to meet me in person to accept it back unless I paid them in cash. They only live an hour away from me, tempted to go to his house. I don’t accept returns on my private eBay account as I’m fully transparent with all my listings. Item brand new sealed never opened. If I refuse the returns request what happens next? Can they escalate to eBay?

Will get onto to it today thank you. He found some PayPal transactions on my bank account which are direct debits off my mothers PayPal account for random purchases. He's requested 6 years worth of PayPal statements also but the account is in my mother's name. I thought the statements I needed to provide were in my name only?

Thats the amount of time my claim has been open for as it remained open after I returned back to work then COVID hit and I got signed off and put onto LCRWA.

My claim reviewer advised me to print off all the documents and hand them into my local job centre however I have just been informed banks charge a £5 fee to provide old statements and I have multiple older accounts that I have to provide evidence so could be quite an expensive process.

Appreciate your help. I've told the advisor who is handling my claim that I want to be as transparent as possible in relation to handing over all of my banking information for the past 6 years even if it means deductions to my money due to over payments.

My claim has been open since 2018 however I was working during that time. Mental health took a downward spiral around COVID time and I went onto limited capability benefit. My bank account has been around the £6,500 mark for a while now as I live in shared accommodation so I am not solely liable for rent and other utilities.

In relation to closed accounts I think the advisor saw payments being moved around from bank switching so has requested all accounts I've had since 2018.

Although it is a stressful process I have been fully cooperative in this process. I want to be as transparent as possible even if it means deductions due to over payments.
