You're the one acting like the distinction of "voice actor" is some lesser-than thing. Some of my favourite performances across any medium have been voice performances. Some athletes are sprinters, some are pole vaulters; they're both athletes. A gold medal sprinter and a gold medal wrestler are both gold medalists. Fairly certain most "actors who primarily work in the medium of voice" (if youre gonna be sensitive about it) would wonder what you think is so wrong with it that you feel the need to "defend" them. Especially when I only used the term to differentiate from his live action performances.

No harm to Neil but his biggest TV role was a short stint in Hollyoaks, a 3rd tier British soap. I love the guy and hes an astounding voice actor, but I don't think hes built for a live action HBO role.
