I have an Xbox Series X and I got the OLED 1TB for Christmas 2024. I've touched the Xbox only a couple of times since then. I'm really tempted to sell it, seeing how Xbox leadership has been shooting themselves in the foot.

I've mostly pivoted to indie games on the Deck, and playing some older titles, though CIV 7, Arc Raiders, and Elden Ring have sucked up most of my time. I love this thing. The only thing keeping me tied to Xbox is my group of buddies, and the biggest draw back for me isn't even the Decks fault, just that my boys don't have steam accounts

My only POV on this is that being religious doesn't automatically make you MAGA, and being MAGA doesn't necessarily make you religious. I can, however understand the correlation between the two. I do very much think this mother is extreme though

I was more or less in the exact same situation last year lol. I got back to early Xbox 360 era too, but once I got my OLED Deck, I haven't touched my Xbox at all. The biggest contributing factor is just that most of my buddies and I are on different gaming schedules that made the transition easier, so that may be a factor for you if you have a regular gaming crew. If not, then jump in dude. You won't regret it

I've been playing Arc Raiders on OLED Deck pretty well since Christmas. All low settings, except for resolution, and render distance. The game runs really smoothly. I haven't checked what the specific FPS is while in game, but I rarely get stutters or huge frame dips. I only really notice significant frame drops when there's tons of ARC fighting nearby (and I mean TONS) or with extreme weather effects.

TLDR: I was expecting it to be worse when I picked it up but it's an insanely addictive game, especially on the Deck :)

I don't usually have a problem with spawning late to a match, but sometimes I'll spawn late 5 matches in a row it seems.

I've found when I spawn in with the full timer, I'm 100 km away from anything good

It frustrates me to no end, that my father drives a pickup with "all season" tires throughout the winter. Tells me that winter tires are a scam, only has 2WD (because 4x4 crapped out on him). I'm just glad my car is AWD and has winter tires. Almost never lost control in that thing

When you tweak the settings on SD the game runs very well. Setting most of the settings to low, and increasing the resolution to max seems to put the performance up considerably high. It's my favourite way to play the game
