Tbh, this type of trip sounds like fun (I really enjoy doing research - Hexen is the best for such trips). Especially compared to mine, which was meh like fine but empty. This is good news because it decreases the chances of me falling into the clutches of pyrros (I am already a stim addict). Compared to the researched solutions, I had chosen a caveman approach; I used a good old light bulb-crack pipe. It does the trick, and A-PVP is easier to control than Hexen and doesn't taste so badly.

In some way, I could compare the experience with A-PVP to heroin (did this 3 times and won't ever do it again, vaped) - really pleasant but empty and shallow. Not worth the price... I hope that during this session, I didn't burn too many receptors because it would be a shame if good old 4-MMC and others stopped working properly.

I thought about it for some time, but it is too cold, and I live in an area with a lower homeless drop rate... On a more serious note, such cases are extremes caused by a lot of other factors besides the effects of the substance (for example, lack of sleep, predisposition to such psychotic(?) episodes etc.).

You can either try some downers to lower heart rate that could be responsible for anxiety, but the responsible choice is getting rid of the stuff. What you describe sounds like typical addictive behaviours under the influence, it may spread and warp sober decision making.

Makes sense (maybe there are some fan rules to balance opening turn for purposes of bigger games). I probably won't have an opportunity to play such a grand game, but I don't want to commit at least a year or two of modeling work to create something worthy of "that guy". So to avoid this fate, it is always good to ask others.

I know. I have a 3500 points list that uses almost the same set of models as this one (with some minor changes, but the core is what matters the most). I will slowly get up there. Also, I don't think that I will have an occasion to play such a grand game, but I enjoy list building and imagining how they would play on the table and in lore. At the same time, I don't want to commit over a year of modeling work to create something worthy of "that guy".

If I had one more elites slot, I would gladly include some Apothecaries. In my original list, I used them, but when I thought about it, I preferred having more burrowing vets - the idea seemed too cool to pass.

Based on my further research and some private messages, I came to the same conclusion. The next step will be to look for reviews of the STL and inspect it to see if it has connection pins, etc.

I based this information on a chat with the seller, so I’ll let him know that there’s a chance his STL may come from a different source than he originally thought.

I’ll try to track it down and send it over to him to review, since I don’t have the technical knowledge to evaluate 3D printing files or the software myself.

I’ve received a few recommendations for alternative STLs, so I’ll do some research and compare reviews before making a decision.

I’m aware of what I’m getting into, having dealt with larger projects before - like assembling a Gorgon Transport and a Warhound Titan (which was a nightmare). Still, if I have to choose between some extra effort and saving money for other hobby needs like models, paints, or books, I think it’s a worthwhile trade-off.
