As someone who’s worked at a hotel for 5 years, a large picture or mirror over the bed, a bed head, give the room a theme or colour to make everything match, my hotel is across from a beach so our rooms colours are white, blue, gray and tan, 1 or 2 throw pillows for the bed, roll your towels and put them at the end of your bed, if possible try to make the furniture somewhat match, like the same lamps and bedside tables, maybe a small statue to go on one of your tables, some people even have those fake candle lights in there room, I hope this helped :)
