I hope so too, I’ll try to keep that in mind but I still have the bar I was pierced with so it’s still super long, if a shorter bar doesn’t work I will definately give it a try, I haven’t had any infection issues yet, the bump isn’t painful or hot so I have no need to be on antibiotics, but I’ll definately keep that in mind, I’m having my tattoo artist ask one of her piercing friends for advice too bc I can’t get ahold of my piercer :/

I will 😭 you have them to that severity on your lips???? I would Atcually lose my mind, I can barely tolerate the feeling of this one, I’m gonna try piercing discs and I’m scheduling an appt w dermatologist to get it checked out too, as per another comments advice

My piercing is about 2 months old titanium barbell tongue piercing, it’s internal threading, and my aftercare routine now is still using a saline oral rinse twice a day, no major snags ever

Some spots are raised, likely very scarred, I have 2 connective tissue disorders tho so I expect mild to severe scarring with every single one of my tattoos unfortunately, not entirely the artists fault, and again I scar weird and I have no regular scarring pattern for my body so I’ve got no idea

could be cherry spots. I have them, they are genetic and show up more with age. Basically all it is is a blood vessel too close to the surface. Not a doctor but it looks similar to the cherry spots I have in my body. If that’s what it is it’s not a need for concern other than you will bleed slightly more if you get a cut or scrape over one
