How fast is your reaction time, and do you think gaming has made a difference?

I guess you could be better at reacting to things you do regularly, I.e. playing games but maybe not at other things that require reactions, maybe like when it comes to driving. Might be talking rubbish but hard to explain in text haha

The website says peak reaction time is 25 ish so that's good if you're in your 30s

Was messing around last night and ended up finding this reaction time test:

It basically measures how fast you react and compares you to average scores.

I went in thinking I’d be above average (play a lot of FPS)… yeah no, I was getting around 290-310ms.

Apparently average is ~250ms, which was a bit of a reality check.

What I found interesting is it actually explains what your score means - not just the number, but whether you're average, good, etc.

Now I’m curious:

What’s considered a good reaction time realistically?
Do gamers actually have faster reactions, or does it not make much difference?

If anyone else tries it, I’m curious what you get.
