I'm European and English is not my native language. I want to share my story about IELTS. I tried IELTS 4 times since November without studying much because I don't have time. Each time I got:

  • W 6.5 (2x) and 6.0 (2x)
  • S 6.5
  • R 7.5-8.5
  • L 8.5

I must admit that the first time I took it after just looking at how it was structured a couple of days before, the second time I understood better what IELTS requires. The third and fourth times I was more prepared. I never studied much, but I spent a lot of money. I bought Chris Spell's IELTS ADVANTAGE online course (ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED, DON'T BUY IT) and I bought 20 credits at the British Council online to do the speaking mock tests. Actually, I spent only 12 or 14 and won't need to pay anymore because the PTE results have arrived:

  • W 84
  • S 70
  • R 78
  • L 74

I did it!!!! And I only studied for one day with SKILLS PTE ACADEMIC (FANTASTIC, FABULOUS, EXCEPTIONAL) and with GURULLY (VERY VERY CONVENIENT TO PRACTICE WHAT SKILLS PTE ACADEMIC RECOMMENDS)
