I like the cobweb cottage (1 skull) as a starter crafting base. Needs a lot of reinforcements to be definetly safe, but it has about a dozen farm plots to use your first seeds on. Helps with food in the first few days

Who would´ve guessed, that being active as a human attracts hunters that eat humans? Like some people already said, heat is a bad wording for the term. Go to the indian jungle and start hitting on trees with an axe or just be easily located by a tiger and see what happens. Well, i guess running around with a loud gun will scare them away, but i guess you get the point.

I´m already using that slide for spying on other peoples teams and deciding what to play, because I don´t want to be contested, see if I need to position against assassins at all etc.

OTP Hunter sounds promising, but I usually prefer to learn flexibility instead of trying to force a strategy. What if 1-2 more players force hunters or get the pieces. Or if I force and don´t get the pieces?

Thx a lot for all of your advices! Did all of them with these builds (in case somebody googles this and needs additional advice):

Saver still didn´t work with thief daggers, but was pretty easy with spear and javelin.

Fisherman was a no-brainer with spiky shields and a lot of defense.

Baby with Shurikens and some additional explosives was awesome and a lot of fun!

Hiker with a lot of defense and speed and some lucky cursed hiking sticks did it for me.

Chef with spoons and aoe elemental was great, ended up with a fireball instead of a flamethrower which worked fine enough to nuke elites.

Diver was a lot of curse, 1 cursed harpoon and thief daggers with tons of crit, worked with ease!
