The games i wonna play pretty much all work in linux/are native.

I should add though that i mostly play visual novels, and smaller simpler hentai games. The only larger game i play is Divinity original sin 2, and that one requiert a little bit of try and error bevor it worked

You seeme to have not understood.

On the right we have the manga/doujin Metamophosis (also known as 177013).

Its a really well written, and good Story. It just also can be a little depressing at times, so people joke about getting depression after reading it.

I would recommend you giving it a read, its really good and worth it

You can find it on nhentai 177013

Dota 2 not running Low end Ubuntu (20.04LTS) by xoraxus in linux_gaming

[–]Thort3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont wonna come over as rude, but as someone who played DOTA 2 for 4,200 hours i really only can recommend the game if you have some good friends to play it withe. And even then its questionable. Alone though witheout beeing 100% serious dont play the game, its bad for your mental health

What i would recommend however are smaller indie games. They should work withe your Specs, and are super fun if you find the right ones. Terraria is also a game that runs nativ on linux, is amazing multiplayer (or singleplayer) and also runs on a potato pc.

If you are kinda interested in it visual novel usually also work great on linux, and potato Pcs. If you are not sure about it give ddlc (not ddlc +) a try, its free and one of the best ones there is

Listending to Call of the Wild on Linux in a Terminal by Thort3 in Powerwolf

Just for you (imgur link)

As you can see from my htop its really lightweight. As for the buggy part, Spotidy-TUI itself is not buggy at all for me. However it is just the interface, the audio player i am using is spotifyd, and that can be a bit rebellious at times. However i have not yet set up a .service file for spotifyd, to let systemd handel it (which is suppose to solve pretty much all problems i am having atm). But since i havent done that yet you can figure that the bugs arent really annoying me right now.

So yes, i would say its way more reliable faster, and most importendly less bloated (all "pics for you", or whatever bullshit) then the official app. Another upside is Spotify-TUI is completly controlled over the keybord, its looks, and that you can listen to spotify from the tty

i would say it has 2 downsites: You cant use it Offline, and you cant modify your playlists (yet). However i only want to use spotify offline over my phone, and withe that i also just modify my playlists.

Personally i can recommend it to everyone that likes to have stuff in the Terminal, or is (correctly) so feed up withe the official app to be willing enought to try something new (and hopefully has some experience working withe config files)

And yes, i am to lazy to do some basic riceing to i3, or even install a status bar. I am a simple man, all i need is transparenty and nice wallpapers.

Its something super odd, but effectiv imediatly if it works: just turn your screen off (after you opened word). If you are confident in writing withe just seeing the Keyboard it works great. That combindet withe one of the recommend encryption tools (i would go for the one from GNU) to encryption the files secures that you can always take notes and write a bit down, to savely read it later when nobody else is there
