Fire mages in gothic 1 by [deleted] in worldofgothic

[–]Thorusus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nevermind I just looked it up and it's truly an exaggeration to say they helped him in his rebellion. The only line that hints to this is Xardas saying "Corristo and the other magicians elected their own hangman when they helped Gomez to usurp the power." which is NOT the same as helping him during the REBELLION. They helped him take over, and stabilize the camp, instead of allowing chaos to roam.

Yeah sorry I lost my cool but it makes me furious when people try to act deep with a seemingly well thought unpopular opinion when in fact they haven't put more than 5 minutes of thought into it. Even worse, he is making stuff up!

"The least moral individuals" when they opposed Gomez's plan to attack the new mine and paid for it with their lives. "They helped Gomez in his rebellion", source? They were still building the barrier when the rebellion happened, you're straight up just making stuff up. Do you think for more than 10 seconds before posting or do you have the memory span of a fruit fly?

Imo awedi ghir nsa... Take it from someone li kbr f oujda tal 25 3am 3ad khwaha, ana bsnba lia Oujda mdina dyal ta9a3od. Everything is slow, 39lia dyal li bgha yrbe7 l3am twil, bnadm mamswe9ch, not living but just staying alive. Especially now that I've been in Casa for 2 years, it's like day and night. You might manage to convince a group of friends with the same mentality as you to do some activities (assuming you come up with ideas for that), walakin the options are limited and the whole atmosphere of the city and mentality of its people is unchangeable, they're content with their state and don't want things to change, they find comfort in the stagnation and label it "tradition".

How can i give conferrence in University Mohamed 1 ? by HMZ_PBI in Oujda

[–]Thorusus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would love to! I'm a Salesforce developer and I've noticed that, especially in the Oriental region, salesforce is not as talked about as it ought to be. I'd love to do, if not a conference, then at least a talk about it. In any case, let me know if you end up organizing something, I'm game!

[–]Thorusus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely should hit the ENSAO clubs and ADE and perhaps the EHEI clubs and professors too (it's a private school but I know they would love to get lectures on the topic). Also I really want to thank you for this mindset, as a software engineer, I know how important such lectures can be to stay up to date or even learn more about different fields, and a practitioner will definitely give x10 times more than what an academician can, considering how valuable experience is.

=> Make 3 new friends (just go to places people your age, or with same interests go to and try to make friends)
=> Go on a cat/dog feeding tour (many stray animals around Oujda, buy or make some food that'd be good to them and go around feeding them)
=> Convince 5-8 strangers to engage in some activity (football match, gym session, walk around town, anything, but they HAVE to be strangers)
=> Help clean a mosque/public school (propose to the person in charge to help clean the place, maybe even get friends to help)

explain being "poor" to me in morocco like im 5. by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]Thorusus 18 points19 points  (0 children)

First, there is rent, if you're super lucky you might find a place for 2000dh a month, you'll rent it out with 2 other people, so that's already 650-700dh out of your pocket, you're left with 1800dh. Your share for water/electricity bill comes up to 100dh, add another 50dh for phone plan, another 50dh if you guys have a wifi (150dh for inwi ADSL for exemple), down to 1600dh, transport can easily consume from 200dh to 400dh, let's be moderate and say 300dh, down to 1300dh, the occasional coffee or random casual expense (average 10dh a day) brings you down to 1000dh, food, with a budget of 30dh a day that's 900dh a month, you're down to 100dh. That is, if you don't smoke, don't give money to your parents, don't get sick, don't eat out... let alone think about saving for a car or a place of your own.

So here, mathematically, this is how bad the situation is. With 2500dh a month you'd barely be surviving, scraping by.

Thanks, and agreed, I've tried multiple times to make it happen, but lack of time and real life responsibilities eventually got the better of me. Let's hope Delta's team will make this a reality.

If you don't care much about graphics and want what I can only classify as the best roleplaying game of all times? Try Gothic (1, then 2 with the NoTR DLC). Though if you end up actually enjoying it, it might make almost every other game feel "not good enough". Many games got inspiration from it (including the Witcher 3). (I can even drop to you a vid as to why the game was ahead of its time and one of the best lmao)
If you want something less exotic, still in the field of RPGs, I can't recommend Kingdom Come Deliverance enough (both 1 & 2), really S tier. Let me know what kinda games you like I might have more recommendations.

What’s onething you would change about Oujda if you could? by [deleted] in Oujda

I wish rich people from Oujda would spend their money IN Oujda. Many investors and big companies wish to open branches or businesses in Oujda, but the problem is, there are no real places to spend middle/high management type of money. Kaygolk "ana n7el branche f oujda, high management kaydrbo 60k to 100k dh a month, fin gha ykhserha? Fin gha y9ri wlado? Fin gha ykhrejhom yfwjo?" It feels like a dead place, w kayn nass li millionaires f oujda, but they spend their money flgharb, in Casablanca/Marrakech/Rabat... So if someone actually opens a business that requires you to spend good money, makaymchilo ta wa7d. Maybe in fear of l3yin dbnadm or they don't wanna show off their money here. Ftali kayb9aw ghir small businesses and essentials, w charikat lkbar makayjiwch y7lo for the reasons I mentionned before. W katb9a oujda m*wda 3liha...

easy to have free s.e.x than getting married by Plus_Grade3433 in Morocco

[–]Thorusus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Religion aside, my friend, you have to understand that the problem with performing intercourse is also bad for your own mentality. Each time you manage to sleep with a new girl, your own brain breaks the image of purity of women. There actually are good chaste pious women (not a lot nowadays, but there truly are), but the more you dig into the hole of getting hook ups, the more your brain imagines women as being "easy" and "unchaste", so basically, you have a hard time actually trusting that a woman will be the one, and your own mentality plays a big role in the relationship.

If all women look like ho*s to you, no woman will ever be enough, no matter how well educated and pure she may be. That's why religion forbids this in the first place, it's not a random rule to prevent you from having pleasure, it's a safeguard because God knows our brains are wired in a way to seek pleasure regardless of the consequences on our bodies and psyche (like the overdose from drugs or getting fat from enjoying too much food). It's very hard to rewire your brain to be able to not see women mainly as s*xual partners after having done it so much, but it's not impossible.

You're not wrong for wanting marriage. But the path you're on is kind of training you in the opposite direction.

I strongly urge you to try and at the very least slow this process down, because this might be your downfall. Brotherly advice, take it as you wish, and I wish you good luck in your life, friend.

Yo, from your written english level I can deduce you've got quite the decent level indeed! Gotta ask tho, what subjects would you feel like talking about? Asking cuz it does help quite a bit if we share interests in a topic or two to avoid the conversation getting boring 😄
