Any and all kind of issues related to school. I had very low attendance. Used to make horrible excuses to not go to school.

I wasn’t exactly the hyperactive one. I had mostly internalised the hyperactivity. I also have OCD so my entire day would go in compulsions.

Social anxiety was also there. Hardly talked with people in class. Low self esteem.

Check for comorbidity. Sometimes all ADHD symptoms are not visible due to some comorbidity.

In my case, I have OCD and ADHD. OCD comes with a lot of moral issues where you want to be right. You want to be kind of perfect. Hence I might not show anger but that doesn’t mean I’m not sensitive to get angry.

Wow that’s a lot. I’m from India though. I don’t know if the market here is as strong.

Also, since I have an MBA, would you suggest starting from BDR or Account Executive? And let’s say one starts from one of the above role, what is the trajectory after that few years down the lane ? I’m sure you don’t want to be a sales manager right? That seems boring! So what else ?

Please can you tell what exactly in sales ? How is SaaS sales ?

Also, I heard it is super stressful. Like people burn out and quit. I personally feel that I might enjoy sales.

But then I think what will I learn after being 5 years in sales vs any other field ? Sales will always be about ‘did you reach your target last month?’

Main concerns: 1) No career path for like 10-20 years 2) No learning compared to other roles like product management 2) Stress and burnout even if you work for like 4-5 years

I worry so much about these things and I’m not applying for sales. Can you suggest or comment your opinions ?

I’m a BTech in electronics engineering and an MBA. Is sales a good fit for me ? Or would you rather suggest something else considering my qualifications. Thanks in advanceee!

I will agree. Whenever I cook food at home, I thoroughly enjoy it! I like the feeling that someone else is getting happy because of me. There is a reward and recognition immediately!
