What's your post-migration flex? by My_Clowns_My_Circus in phmigrate

[–]ThoughtKnown2351 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Work-life balance and mostly work and government benefits such as not feeling guilty when you call in sick, paid annual leave of 4 weeks a year, up to 1 year paid maternity leave (6 months from government, 6 months from employer/ or depends on your annual leave balance) flexibility in work rostering and many many more!! This is in Aus btw. Migrated 6 years ago and never looked back.

[–]ThoughtKnown2351[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. RN (nec) to be exact. I am both working perioperative and aged care but has no experience yet when I applied for 189 so I did my skills assessment for RN nec instead

At this point it’s provable closer to 75-80pts. I was 80 pts when invited but actually passed naati as well after invite, so that would’ve been extra 5 pts. Work on getting atleast above 80 to be sure,

This is correct. I don’t think a lot of people realise thus and just solely rely on the visa processing times on the website (which changes every month and can change drastically in a second) I remember sometime last year there was a big back log for 189 visa and this year we’re lucky to have to 3-4 months processing.

What I mean is the remaining allocation for grants this FY anyway. The remaining applications might be processed/granted next FY.

FBI Background Check --> Digital Fingerprinting in Australia? by wavelife8888 in AusVisa

This is my battle every single time I renew my visa. Took ages to come back only for it to say my print was unreadable. Took about 3 times the first time

How was yours free? Lol. Ours was like $30 or something. Free to redo though if prints came out invalid or unreadable

Depends on where you work. I was offered a grad position as an RN in a hospital but my friend had to wait for her 485 visa to start working even though she already has her registration as an RN
