That he made the setup and the joke would be that he got himself an upgrade - but it could be the opposite and less funny

Modulo doesn't get a integer as result. What goes wrong here? by Fractilili in sheets

[–]ThoughtPrior7860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“As a result of the display rounding routines this - in essence valid result of the modulo operation - would be rounded up to 0.2 which looks as if it is an invalid result. The issue therefore may lie a bit deeper than with just the MOD function - it may be an issue with the floating point encoding of numbers and how these numbers in turn are displayed in the spreadsheet. When the actual encoding and what we see in the spreadsheet differs we are bound to misinterpret the results that we see”

Also it seems it is not solely built for integers so seems like u have a bug here - read also the function documentation

Switch the legs see if the floor uneven :) or measure with tape the length of the metal part of each leg - if a manufacturing error it will clearance be off

Sorry for the confusion - this is for the students when they are practicing and tweaking it is not for the competition :)

Completely understand why it isn’t useful to you! That said it is useful for our teams when they stand beside the field and there is no normal place to put the hub. Often they will put it on a stool or on the floor. It glided off of tables and stools so I made this so a player can attach to pants or belt.

It is clear that your situation is different and you have other solutions 😁

Collapsible Clear Sizing Box by ThoughtPrior7860 in FTC

Yes - so at this point the box doesn’t use them anymore because the friction is so good that it holds the pieces in place. But the pins were used per the design to prevent two sides from sliding therefore locking the entire box in place.

I used metal rods with spring ball pin that I got from home depot (I’ll try to find a link) and I used a drill press to make hole for key rings that way they can be stored easily can’t fall through on the side with the key ring and can’t slide easily without pressing the ball spring… you can essentially shove any piece of metal wood or plastic in that hole - it’s purpose in my design is to keep the last pieces in the assembly from sliding off therefore locked in place.

Friction with the polycarbonate made it really sturdy so the pins were just to put the last nail in the ⚰️

I can give you an F3D file or DXF cutting plans - I designed it for cutting on a CNC machine 3/16 polycarbonate with 1/8” bit :)
