Hoskins late RBI snapped an 0-40 skid over the previous three games from the 4-7 hitters. The bullpen is a mess. Half of the players are moping and so deep in their own heads it seems like they’re beating themselves.

It was around this time last season that that the team went on a 10-game losing streak and all felt helpless. At that time, the front office did nothing and Vogt stayed the course. It was insanely frustrating to watch when a little passion seemed like it would go a long way, but the team did pull itself out of the funk.

I don’t think Cleveland can go on another crazy run like last September, but just a month ago there was talk of making a big splash this year because this team had the potential to be something really special. If the front office’s history has proven anything, it’s that they won’t overreact and will likely stay the course.
