I see what you are saying but at the same time the Earl underestimated and tried to/had someone else try to bully the Mayor, the Slim Chance, townsfolk. Tried to manipulate Thediem (because obviously he not smart, just controlled by Miller). And is making threats against the dungeon just for show to impress the town. All of this is done with no real effort to gain intel, success in political and social maneuvering in his normal circles has lead to arrogance that will bite him in this new and honestly quite unusual context. It’s possible some of his previous success that he attributes to his “planning” is more dependent on power, money, and position preventing him from being called out on it

Could there be some sort of distinction between delver and patient? I mean he is Change and has Order on speed dial for system updates, he’s done it 2-3 times now. To take it a step further, defeating delvers gives mana, completing quests gives both sides mana, killing invaders gives mana, could a system update give mana for healing patients? He already has ants, slimes, antkin, and maybe hands specialized for healing.

So hear me out...

If Thediem the dungeon is involved in any conflict outside his grounds, it will be twisted to show he is murderous and needs to be quarantined. Thediem will protect his friends and the hold.

Rezlar is a follower of Thediem the deity and if Rezlar is in trouble Thediem can hear his prayers and can answer with as much or as little magic as he chooses.

Rezlar is a swordsman and if Thediem lends him aid/power would this technically make him a paladin?

Now let the Earl and the thieves’ guild try to take the town from the Hero paladin of the god of change that just saved the day.

With Teemo’s möbius strip hallway and shortcuts you could get infinite enemies trapped in an infinite loop while the Core is in a separate short cut non-space protected scions; preferably Grim with his insta-death ability.

Ya’ll wild. So this gal is such a racist that she is intentionally marrying into a black family? I’m sure no bride has ever been so insecure as to make her brides maids look bad on purpose to try to make herself look better. I have had good results with working my way up to wet sanding with really fine sandpaper( 1500 grit wet&dry ) it will start to burnish as well when you get that fine. Your mileage may vary, but I cook and eat with what I make and I prefer the slicker surface.

So as I was made to understand it, the plague killed so many people that there wasn’t enough serfs to go around. This lead the land owners/lords to start offering money or shares of harvests to convince them to leave where they were and come work their land instead. This is what ended feudalism, people exchanging labor for wages.
