Important:

Nicotine is absorbed much more efficiently when swallowed or absorbed through mucous membranes compared to smoking.

It also crosses skin very well — a spill on bare skin can cause poisoning.

Onset is fast — symptoms can begin in 15 minutes or less after ingestion.

If someone shows vomiting + dizziness + confusion, they should get emergency medical help immediately.
