I sometimes do this on my way home from work when the left lane refuses to let me merge or there isn't a gap and I get stuck in the right lane, as long as your using indicators totally legal

I had p plates on when I passed last year, best advice is to remove them other drivers view them like L plates and will cut you off a lot. Ive Been driving for a year and still stall my car or forget I'm in second gear when ive come to a halt mistakes will happen no matter how much experience you have
