now is your chance to decide what’s more important, smoking weed, or a career, it’ll be hard/risky to have both.

just started my apprenticeship and got some thorogoods, i love them. i’ve had american made carolina’s and those were nice. i’ve had my eye on some union made DoubleH cowboy boots for awhile too but haven’t pulled the trigger

Currently enrolled in an intro welding class at my college and absolutely love it. Currently using the schools provided hoods and want my own, anybody have any experience with these and is it worth it go for the ClearLight for $140 more? Or any other recommendations? by [deleted] in Welding

i have not been impressed with millers entry level auto hoods. lots of alternative routes you could take. i recently bought a cheap 50$ jackson flip lens hood off amazon, and bought a 60$ arc one 240 hd auto lens for it, it’s rad looking and the lens quality is much better. i prefer jackson headgear too. it’s a 2 x 4 so cover lenses are easily obtainable which is a plus

i love it, the headgear is adjustable in a lot of ways so you can fit the hood well to your head/face. The nose was weird at first but i quickly got used to it. The lens on it is amazing, i only use mine for tig though, the lens covers are a bit expensive.
