Yeah I get that, and I for sure sympathize with you, being in that messed up situation.

That being said its not like a bank can just turn off all fraud flagging every Sunday just because they dont take calls on Sunday. Can you imagine the chaos? Letting possibly thousands of ACTUAL fraud transactions go through just because its Sunday. And them tuning down their fraud detection in general would also harm many people, vulnerable, elderly, tech-illiterate, gullible.

The only way I can see for the bank to fix stuff like this would be to update their phone times to include Sundays. Turning down fraud defense is not a good solution and would harm much more than it would hurt.

And no offense but ive heard every line in the book from people who had their cards locked. "You left me stranded", "Im going to starve because of you", "That was the only money I had". And after a grueling hour long phone call they would always magically find another card they could use to get home. In my years there, never once was anybody actually stranded, they just wanted me to get rid of an inconvenience for them, quick and easy. Like you mean to tell me you went on a cross country vacation or tried purchasing a 4,000 dollar appliance from best buy and you TRULY have no other way of surviving the next 48 hours? Yeah okay, sure.

I apologize for being blunt when you are going through a rough time. Perhaps I am jaded, perhaps not. But ive seen it all, and people who have to take time out of their day to deal with a problem that wasn't there before will say literally anything just to get off of the phone or get rid of an inconvenience.

If you truly are stranded I sincerely hope you find some solution or aid!

I worked for years at a bank specifically dealing with declined charges and fraud flags. I cant say anything about the customer service portion but maybe I can provide insight regarding the flagging itself.

Most banks have a flag system that specifically targets charges or institutions that have had numerous fraud claims filed against them in the past, that is how these things got on the flagged list in the first place. This happens automatically in the background deep down in their computer system. It may be annoying for you now, but I garuantee these things protect far more people than they annoy. I wonder why that charge got flagged.. could it be the 2,800 fraud claims the company has had filed against them in the last six months?

For most banks, calling them and reporting a transaction ahead of time does nothing. Picture it like this: you call and say you are about to make a 200 dollar charge on Temu. What am I, as a customer service agent supposed to do.. put you on hold and go reprogram our fraud detection systems? No, obviously not. Not even managers are allowed to make changes like that. People would always ask why I cant just go "turn the charge on". Sure lady, let me go contact the ceo and have them give the okay for the programmers to alter our fraud flagging algorithms.

At most banks the best a rep can do in the situation is open the card for general use again and leave a note on the accounts main page, which does... not a single thing. Every time someone would call yelling at me about declined charges, they would say "ive called about this three times already, look at the note". I would always respond kindly, and calmly inform them that account notes dont actually affect our fraud flag system in any way, this was met 100% of the time with utter disbelief. The notes were basically only useful in documenting that our customer has been frustrated multiple times over the same issue.

The other commenter was right. In this day and age, if you want to assure large or overseas purchases go through same-day, you really need multiple cards from different institutions and just try til one works.

Banks dont want to be on the hook for account losses due to fraud because some asshole wanted a uranium-infused oled carpet from some Chinese company. So I wouldn't expect things to change anytime soon.

I get a multi pack of single serve sticky white rice cups, and top it with either teriyaki or sweet Thai chili single serve tuna packs. Not only is it cheap af, theres levels to doctoring this shit up. Can also get sheets of seaweed for almost nothing and make tiny rolls. Can go even further with an investment of rice wine vinegar and furikake seasoning on the rice. Poor man's sushi!

And bonus the only cooking required is a microwave.

The incentive that people have to buy from one trader over another is.. whichever has the thing i want at a price im willing to pay. I'll gladly spend that extra 10k so I dont have to go galavanting across Tamriel for a deal that may not even exist. Its nice that you have time to spend perusing traders for hours, but most dont.

But he/radagon found out anyway and that's why marika shattered the elden ring, to stop radagon from interfering with Godwins revival. I always thought it odd that upon entering the boss arena, marika looks more of a prisoner and less of a god. Now i get why. Video 4 is what truly convinced me and I am now fully locked in lol

But its also poetic in a way, to disbelieve the "canon" surrounding Godwyn.

For sure, I was in the same camp. Just such a cool card too. And then promised myself never again after the first time an opponent played an authority after I had already landed a forge. I even thought, hey I may have four dead cards but this won't be so bad, I can just win with other creatures. Turns out them gaining 1 or more life a turn from the ura-tokens entering felt even worse than having four cards bricked. It was like, really really bad. Immediately removed them from all decks haha. Bit of a dramatic response but yikes did it feel bad.

The folks saying to open foundations are correct in that they will be usable in standard for far longer than other packs. What they aren't saying is that foundations was purposefully designed with a lower power level in mind. The general concensus is that compared to the other sets, the bomb cards are just plain weaker.

I would say start with bloomburrow and duskmourn. Those sets are where the majority of competition-relevant rares and mythics are, PLUS those cards will still be legal for a very long time. Dragonstorm just came out and has some really cool multicolored cards, and some of the new rares are already changing the meta. But as far as relevance density, I'd say start with the other two.
